level 1

Nah, I don't feel the same style.

level 2

Ok, tin can you genuinely convince me as I really hate to be the i to detest something in aot lol.

level i

Yes I don't similar it. It's objectively worse. The detail is just not there. Also nosotros already started having anime onlies thinking at that place was a time jump because the characters are drawn differently and they think they anile. Can't blame them.

level 2

Aye I don't like it too. One of the things that made aot stand out for me was its always evolving art, particularly in this modern decade were all animes are going for less details and more cartoonish looking characters.

level 1

In that location is something different only not enough to say its meliorate/worse quality imo. Yet I actually think that the faces are more detailed than before, at least the movements. Same with the hair. Maybe its the finer lines that make information technology less AOT- and more than standart-anime-like?

level 2

Its definitely not the lines since season 2 has fabricated that shift (frankly I wasn't a fan of those thick lines). What flavour 2 really excelled at were the more than detailed eyes, shading and hair. Regarding the hair in season three, its still of the same quality I will give you that, but the eyes ,sadly, expect unlike and non as great-looking as before.

level 1

I recollect it looks great. You lot're probably just not used to it, y'all might warm upwardly to it every bit yous watch time to come episodes.

level 2

I duuno about that really. Also if you wait at the first scene afterwards the opening (which was blithe mode earlier than the balance of the season) you would find that it had more quality, proper shadings and was more consistent with the previous season'southward fine art style. However, in the rest of the episodes the art is a bit non consistent and in that location are times were the faces are off model for me.

level 2

Can you tell me what yous similar about it that wasn't in the previous seasons?

level 1

I totally get what you mean some of the characters really do look different and the art fashion is a tiny fleck more "cartoonish" I agree with you on that. But maybe that'south because its easier for them to exercise 24 episodes similar this and if thats the case I am okay. I Personaly think that it still looks very much like AoT and and very good (the animations are really smooth) I am certain yous'll get used to it in time! But aye y'all're right it looks slightly different than S2👌🏻

level 2

Yeah I that reason too came to my heed. It seems that WIT having one year to animate 24 episodes (especially that they have a lot of projects this yr) have decided to develop a newer less detailed mode that would allow for easier animation. Hopefully they could upwardly the fine art for the more important episodes and especially RTS.

level 1

Information technology'southward irked me as well when I find it.

level two

Yes together with the opening it kinda killed some of the hype for me.

* remembers horrible flashbacks to when flavor 2 was appear to be one cour and killed my hype then.

level 1

I like it a lot more, the characters seem more expressive

level 2

I run into. Frankly information technology feels the opposite to me, especially the eyes are not as detailed and expressive as season 2.

level i

Same hither. I wouldn't say it's worse to the signal that I won't exist able to get used to it, but having merely rewatched the commencement two seasons the art in this episode really did look off in quite a few scenes. The changes in Levi and Eren's faces bothered me the most. I'm still hoping for this to improve in the next few episodes, though.

level 1

i haven't watched the episode but from the intro alone and the video leaks we saw weeks ago i tin tell that i won't be a fan of this new artstyle they're going for.

i hold with your comment on season ii, the art (not the animation) in flavor two was fantastic and seeing how well everything looked fabricated me excited for the upcoming seasons.

but now it's merely eh. i honestly experience like the people working on the anime chose this artstyle because it's easier/cheaper to execute.

i'm kinda disappointed

level 1

People start "experience non like AoT to me" for every single change they made.

level 2

Well art is a very important attribute that would definitely touch on us, as watchers of the show.
